World Oceans Day
June 8th is a day to celebrate the ocean. An opportunity to honour, help protect and conserve the ocean and to remind everyone of the major role the oceans have in everyday life.
The ocean is a place where you can escape, experience the wonders below the waves and discover amazing creatures. But the oceans are in jeopardy. It is time to act and protect #ourseas from pressures of the human race.
COAST works hard to ensure shared responsibility for the protection and restoration of the marine environment, and we are part of a coalition campaigning for change in the way our coastal waters are managed via a just transition to sustainable and diverse fisheries.
