The political power couple, Rob Gibson and Eleanor Scott are former Members of the Scottish Parliament, representing the SNP and Scottish Greens respectively. Both played instrumental roles in championing COAST’s petition to establish a No Take Zone in Lamlash Bay, helping secure its designation in 2008. Having both moved to Arran in 2025, Rob and Eleanor were appointed COAST Ambassadors in recognition of their longstanding support for community-led marine conservation.
