Paul Chandler, who has been COAST’s Executive Director for almost 3 years, will be leaving COAST at the end of March for pastures new.
The Trustees are grateful to Paul for “working tirelessly to meet our objectives; leading on opening the Octopus Centre, progressing the Arran MPA’s management and research, strengthening the draft Clyde Regional Marine Plan, driving our salmon farm campaigns, and working with the members of the Coastal Communities Network and other partners to transform policy.”
Paul has reflected on his time at COAST saying: ‘It has been a great privilege to work with such an extraordinary organisation over the past three years. I very much value the opportunities it has afforded me to gain a wide range of experience in the field of marine conservation. I also value greatly the time I have spent with the many wonderful members of the COAST community and the wider partnerships whose support has been vital.”
The Trustees, CAP, staff and volunteers would like to thank Paul for all his dedicated hard work and commitment, and wish him all the very best in the future.
