Ferry operator Caledonian MacBrayne have recently revealed a new marine awareness play area on board Arran’s main vessel, the Caledonian Isles.
The new marine vinyl, located in the upper deck’s observation lounge, is an educational tool highlighting the marine wonders that lie beneath Arran’s waters.
COAST were delighted to input into the design, by helping identify which species should be present and also by providing the fun, scientific facts about each species.
Jenny, COAST’s Outreach and Communications Manager has said “This vibrant design is a fantastic tribute to the creatures we find in our local seas, and a great way to get people engaged in the local environment before arriving on the island.”
