Community Science Officer
Katy joined COAST in July 2025 on our Communities and the Sea (CATs) project. She is an inter-disciplinary marine scientist and scientific diver, with a passion for harnessing social and ecological research to support community-led stewardship of our seas. With a childhood spent exploring Arran from her grand-parents’ house in Lochranza, and a long-standing respect for COASTs accomplishments, she is delighted to join the team to develop CATs for Arran’s community and waters.
