Exciting Sea Sightings

In this section we share interesting sightings of sea life around the Isle of Arran and the Clyde Region. We are also interested in any other unusual observations, such as research vessels or large fishing boats. Share your sighting on the online form below or through our Facebook page but make sure you also report it to iRecord so your sighting is used for research, which will help ensure our politicians make evidence-based decisions for Scottish sea life.

Report a sighting

If you would like to help us spread the word you can email us your sightings through this sightings form and we’ll post them on our website.
Remember to register and submit them to iRecord. This way your sighting can be useful for research and decision making, helping to better manage our seas.
