The Discovery Centre is Scotland’s first MPA visitor centre, and it is led by COAST and the people of Arran. This project has come together thanks to the drive, skills and commitment of over a hundred volunteers working along with our staff and the contribution of many generous donations and grants.

We strive to educate the new generation and offer educational activities at the Discovery Centre. Our Outreach Manager will be happy to discuss specific requirements and tailor lessons to best suit your needs. We can offer classrooms sessions and we offer support to John Muir Conservation and Duke of Edinburgh Awards. To plan your visit and discuss costs please contact us. We do our best to accommodate all requests but we appreciate as much notice as possible regarding dates in order to avoid disappointment.
