On Sunday 5th January 2020, The Guardian newspaper published an article highlighting the calls from the coalition #OurSeas, formed of community, fishing and marine protection groups who want to see fish stocks recovered in Scottish waters.
This coalition seeks urgent measures to recover the health of Scotland’s seas – including the establishment of management akin to the 3 mile limit, to limit damaging fishing by trawlers and scallop dredgers.
