The Spring edition of the John Muir Trust Journal features an article titled “National treasures” (page 11), written by our friend and colleague Lucy Wallace of Arran Wild Walks. National treasures explores the natural riches of Scotland’s coastal environments and the many challenges they face in Scotland’s year of Coasts and Waters.
The piece features many of our environmental friends including Cal Major of Paddle Against Plastic, Rich Lilley of Project Seagrass and Nick Underdown of Open Seas, and of course COAST get a mention (Page 14) – the fact that Lucy lives on Arran notwithstanding.
The Journal also includes an article highlighting the information that is gathered from marine strandings by the Scottish Marine Animal Stranding Scheme.
