Arran plays its part in global climate strikes

On February 22nd 2020, The Arran Banner released an article titled “Arran plays its part in global climate strikes“.

This article highlighted the climate strike which COAST and EcoSavvy hosted on Friday 14th February, joining thousands of people from around the world demanding action on the climate emergency. Arran’s Junior Eco School’s Committee and around 30 other members of the public gathered at the Octopus Centre to strike for our climate, and they enjoyed time talking to COAST staff and volunteers and looking around the displays – whilst eating cake, of course!
