Social factors in a fully protected marine reserve: Awareness of and attitudes towards the Lamlash Bay No-Take Zone, Isle of Arran., Bower R.

Awareness and attitudes of the Lamlash Bay NTZ was surveyed among residents, visitors and businesses. Many were aware and positive about the NTZ, although some visitors were confused about what activities are allowed and there was some negativity over fishing restrictions. This suggests further engagement with stakeholders is needed.
