Mapping of marine habitats and species within the community marine conservation area at Lamlash Bay., Axelsson et al. 2009

Scottish Natural Heritage contribute to the initial monitoring of the Lamlash Bay NTZ to establish future benefits to biodiversity and scallop fisheries. Acoustic mapping, underwater cameras and sediment samples found that the seabed was mostly sand, with some coarse sediment, and maerl beds in the north area of Lamlash Bay.
